UEW Healthcare EEOICPA Scholarship  $1000  7-31-19 The Scholarship is open nationwide to those who will be attending college fall semester of 2019. Special consideration will be give to an undergraduate who is interested in pursuing a career in Home Healthcare and knows someone that worked in the nuclear industry and was subsequently approved for benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA), but anyone meeting the requirements & can demonstrate an interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare will be considered. This Award will be presented to current college students, but high school seniors who will be attending school in the fall semester of 2019 are also welcome to apply.  Apply online at: uewhealth.com
NAACP Award Program College Assistance  5-15-19  Applicants
-must be continuing their education in a duly accredited college, university, or other institute of higher learning, or a technical trade school. 
-must hold membership in the NAACP, verifiable by a membership card or valid receipt of payment of membership dues. 
-must be high school seniors or graduates with a minimum cumulative average of 3.0 or B and accepted as full-time students in their prospective school. 


Submit the completed application, official transcripts, proof of acceptance for enrollment at an accredited institute of higher learning, written essay, completed FAFSA, and two letters of reference to :

 Applicants would be someone who has demonstrated excellence and outstanding dedication to their community and/or the environment, serving as a role model to their peers and showing others that individuals are important and can make a difference. 
Applicants should be a graduating high school senior, including those who are home schooled, and live in Saratoga, Washinton, or Warren County, New York.

Heer Law Entrepreneurship Scholarship  $2000 12-31-19  1. Must be currently attending university or college or set to attend during the 19-20 academic year;
2. Must be in good standing with their current or prospective institution;
3. Must apply via email and provide their name, address, university or college, major and expected graduation month and year;

 Horatio Alger Career & Technical Scholarship up to $2500 6-15-19 To be considered eligible applicants must:
- Have completed high school or earned a high school equivalency degree by Spring 2019
- Will be enrolled in eligible program in Fall 2019
-Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue an dcomplete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post- secondary institution in the US
-Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)
-Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity
-Be under the age of 30
- Be a United States Citizen
 The following items must be completed:

- A copy of the full Student Aid Report (SAR). Income documentation must be submitted online.

Agati- Laborers Local 322 Scholarship  $1500 per year renewable up to 3 years  4-26-19  -The applicant must be a member of the former Local 322 or former Local 186 or the son, daughter, or spouse of a current, retired, disabled, or deceased member.
-The applicant must plan on pursuing higher education.
-The person must have a record of academic achievement. 
-The person must have shown evidence that he/she is working to help him/herself educationally and financially.

Newmeadow Funiciello
Scholarship
from $500 - $2500   5-15-19  To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be an alumnus of Newmeadow Preschool.  The student must be a graduating high school senior accepted into a two or four-year college program for the upcoming fall semester or a current college student continuing in a two or four-year college program.   The scholarship application and application requirements may be found on Newmeadow.org/scholarships
 Alpha Epsilon Chapter High School Senior Grant-in-Aid  $250 Barnes and Nobles Gift Card  5-30-19  Female senior planning to attend a 4-year college or university, who will
study education and has a record of mentoring children.

 Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship    3-28-19  College bound young women who demonstrate
academic achievement, community leadership
and express financial need. Scholarships will be
awarded to young women who are graduating seniors and are planning to attend an accredited four year college or university in the Fall of 2019.

  CDCA First Generation Scholarship  $2500  5-1-19  Must be a local student who is enrolling at a Capital Region undergraduate or graduate institution.  In order to qualify as First Generation, neither of the students parents would have  received a college degree  Print the application and follow the instructions for  consideration

 The NY Conference of Italian-American State Legislators Scholarship  2 Academic and 2 Athletic Scholarships in the amount of $3500 each  3-29-19  Requirements for the Academic Scholarship are the student's grade point average, higher education interest and goals, community involvement and individual need. 
Students who apply for the Athletic Scholarship have to demonstrate athletic involvement, achievements and interest in continuing those activities in college.

 CEN Scholarship $1,000 4-30-19  High school seniors graduating in 2019 and accepted at an accredited two or four year college, university or trade school OR
College students enrolle at the undergraduate level in an accredited two or four year college, university or trade school AND
Students planning to enroll in a major which can lead to qualifying for a position with a manufacturer AND
Resident of Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, and Washington counties
 Applications are available on the CEN Manufacturing website and may be submitted by mail or email. 
 Adirondack School Conseling Association Scholarship  $1500 4-18-19  Student must plan to study human services, sociology, psychology or a related "helping" field at a 4 year college or university. 
Student should demonstrate a record of serving others in a humanitarian way. 
School counselor is a paid ASCA member.

 Zonta Club of Glens Falls Scholarship  $750-$2500  4-15-19  Applicant must :
Be a graduating high school senior, a past recipient, or returning adult planning to enroll in either an undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited postsecondary institution for the 2019-2020 academic year or an accredited post secondary course of study leading to a professional career. 
Must be a resident of Warren, Washington or Northern Saratoga County
Must demonstrate a financial need and demonstrate academic success, school and community involvement and a talent or dream for future sucess.

 Adirondack Paralegal Scholarship Unknown 3-8-19 Any student entering higher education Print and complete the application. Follow the submission instructions on the application.  
 William Morehouse Scholarship Application  Minimum of  $500 per applicant per year and may be renewable for the full tenure of undergraduate study in eligible fields  3-2-19  Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or a college student attending or planning to attend a 1,2 or 4 year college or certificate program. 
Applicant must desire and pursue a career in residential construction or a construction related field. A dual degree in related fields is acceptable. Student can be enrolled full or part time. 
Applicant must be a US citizen or documented permanent resident of the United States.

 NYSAAF and NYSSA  up to (10) $1000 scholarships  4-12-19  Providing financial assistance to those high school and college students who have been active in their local fairs or outdoor amusement business. Applicant must be in his/her senior year of high school in NY state or be a NY State resident already attending college and planning to pursue or already pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher learning.    Applications MUST be downloaded from the NYSAAF website: www.nyfairs.org 
 The Edgar H. Eggleston III Memorial Scholarship $1,000 4-25-19 Offering a scholarship to a student who is graduating in the year 2015 from a Warren County high school and who has a family member who is or has been a member of the military. Print the APPLICATION and return to:

 The Schuylerville Community Theater Scholarship  $250-$500 depending on scholarship awarded  4-20-19  Offering scholarships to deserving local high school seniors who wish to enter an accredited college to pursue a career in music, dance, drama or theater arts.   Applications may be downloaded from the SCT website :  www.scttheater.org
 The Adirondack Runners Scholarship  $600  4-19-19 -High school seniors from school districts in
Warren, Washington, Hamilton, Essex and

FASNY Scholarship
 $1500  3-15-19  Applicants must :
Be a member in good standing with FASNY or have a parent/legal guardian who is a member. 
Attend high school as a senior who is enrolled in the fall 2019 school year as an accredited two or four year institution of higher learning  or an accredited technical post-secondary school. 
Serve as a current junior firefighter.  Explorer Scout or RAM in group affiliated with a volunteer department; a volunteer firefighter; or a volunteer with an EMS unit. 
Demonstrate a commitment to both volunteer emergency service and the community.

 YMCA Earth Service Award $1,000 4-2-19 All students in grades 9-12 residing or attending school in Warren, Washington or Saratoga Counties are eligible to apply.    In order to be nominated for this award, the student should complete the first two pages of the application, and have the reference forms completed and returned separately. 
 Drive for Excellence  A new car

 4-30-19  Students receive (2) two entries into the contest for each "A" on their report card, and (1) one entry for each "B". At the start of May 2019, 75 finalists are chosen at random from all entries received. One student will drive away with a new car at the Grand Prize Giveaway in May 2019.  Three other students will have the chance to win $1,000 scholarship.   You may fill out a registration form at Burlington Hyundai-Subaru  333 Shelburne Rd Burlington, VT 05401 or complete an online registration form. 
 AHEC Scholarship  $500  4-1-19  The Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center, known as Hudson Mohawk AHEC, will be awarding up to ten (10) scholarships for $500 each to high school seniors entering an approved healthcare related program at a local community college and/or a certification program. Applicants must be a graduating senior from a high school within the Hudson Mohawk AHEC ten-county service region, which includes: Albany, Essex, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington counties. Recipients from 2018 are eligible to re-apply, which is to be based on performance and funding.  Print and mail completed application
 Ned Carter Memorial Scholarship $1500 2-23-19 -Applicant must be a high school senior who will be attending a two or four year college upon graduation.
- Must be related to a firefighter, be a firefighter, related to a fire district commissioner, fire district secretary, fire district treasurer, or deputy treasurer, or fire district administrator/manager or be an explorer in a fire department of a fire district that is currently a paid up member of the association of fire districts of the state of New York. 
 All required documents shall be submitted as a  single package and not sent separately. 

Application 
 The Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship  $1,000 6-30-19  In order to be eligible, students must meet the following criteria: 
-U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
-Enrolled or accepted in an accredited college or university and plan to continue enrollment
-Consent to a talent release and willing to provide digital photograph and quote for display on (ARS) websites if notified as the winner.
-Graduating high school seniors who meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply.
