TRIO Upward Bound

Warrensburg Central School District has partnered with SUNY Adirondack to give students an opportunity to join the TRIO Upward Bound program.  This program is 100% funded by the US Department of Education, and serves low-income and/or first-generation high school students and their families at no cost to you.  A first-generation student is any student whose parents have not earned a four year college degree (Bachelor's Degree).

The goal for TRIO Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which first-generation college students graduate from high school and enroll and graduate from college. This year-round program serves students during the school year and during the summer months.  Services include weekly meetings with your Upward Bound advisor at school, career exploration, college preparation, tutoring, community service projects, skill building workshops, college trips and leadership activities.
